This document is being shared in order to inform and teach your front desk staff and others the importance of recognizing fraudulent credit card use at your Hotel or other place of business.  Recently, in Volusia County, a large number of chargebacks in the area led to the capture of the alleged criminals involved and the evidence needed to convict them.  As an ongoing investigation, further evidence of more unknown chargebacks may occur at your place of business.  You are encouraged to contact your local law enforcement to report any suspicious chargebacks as they may be related to this investigation or even another.  Good info!!
